Akridge is a full-service commercial real estate firm in the Washington, D.C. area and manages over 12 million square feet of office, industrial/flex, residential, retail, and entertainment space.
Greener Results provides LEED Advisory Assistance Services to Akridge. Specifically, Greener Results has partnerered with MetroWaste Services to perform Waste Stream Auditing and Reporting functions at several Akridge buildings in support of their corporate-wide efforts to become LEED-EB certified.  


CB Richard Ellis Inc., is the world's largest commercial real estate firm.
Greener Results’ parent company, Air Cycle Corporation, created a corporate-wide program for the recycling of lamps, ballasts, batteries, and electronics that it supports in over 4,000 CBRE facilities.  


 

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is one of the largest independent hospitality management companies in the nation managing more than 70 hotels and more than 15,000 rooms.  Crestline has developed an award-winning environmental program entitled Earthpact, which provides an internal scoring system for its greening efforts. 
Greener Results is working with Crestline on a pilot project to assess the EarthPact program versus other similar green hotel programs, evaluate its effectiveness, and assist its facilities in meaningful implementation.   


Gates Hudson is a private real estate investment, leasing, and management company specializing in the leasing and management of office, industrial buildings, shopping centers, and multi-family apartment properties in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Greener Results performed Compliance Assistance Assessments and developed Universal Waste Management Plans to ensure that Gates-Hudson’s DC-based properties were in compliance with the local hazardous waste management regulations.   


Hines is a privately owned, international real estate firm with more than 1,100 properties including skyscrapers, corporate headquarters, mixed-use centers, industrial parks, medical facilities, and master-planned resort and residential communities.

The James River Association is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization located in Richmond, Virginia. The mission of the James River Association (JRA) is to be guardian of the James River. Through four core programs, JRA provides a voice for the river and takes action to promote conservation and responsible stewardship of its natural resources.
Greener Results is currently consulting with JRA as the lead in their “Building a Cleaner James River” project. This phase of the project focuses on moving forward with code and ordinance reviews in traditionally rural localities facing increasing development demand. Greener Results works with stakeholders in Powhatan County and with the Crater Planning District Commission to promote “environmentally friendly” water quality protection practices with new development.  
Greener Results also works with JRA to create various maps for watershed education projects using GIS (geographic information system) software. These maps indicate contour, hydrology, and watershed boundaries as well as other geographic information.

 
Keep Virginia Beautiful, Inc. (KVB) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under section 501(c) (3) that operates in the Commonwealth of Virginia. KVB provides continuing education and awareness programs to inspire a sense of responsibility and pride in clean, attractive, and safe surroundings, and to serve as a clearinghouse for anti-litter techniques and materials.
Greener Results currently sits on the Board of Directors for Keep Virginia Beautiful and serves in an advisory role for membership and recruitment. In addition, Greener Results has provided consulting services for grant writing in the effort to build funding for a website and outreach development program.


Marriott International, Inc., has more than 3,200 lodging properties located in the United States and 66 other countries and territories. Marriott has been committed to environmental preservation for more than 20 years, and has developed a five-point strategy to support that commitment.  
Greener Results’ parent company Air Cycle has created a corporate-wide program for the recycling of lamps, ballasts, batteries, and electronics. Greener Results assists various Marriott properties in their implementation of green initiatives.


Maryland Green Travel is a voluntary statewide program created to reduce the environmental impact of Maryland’s tourism industry. The program is a self-certification that will allow travelers and visitors in Maryland to identify businesses that have chosen to meet the minimum requirements for implementing sustainable practices and environmentally friendly products.
Greener Results assisted in the development of Maryland Green Travel and serves as lead consultant to the program.  

 
MetroWaste is a full-service waste management and recycling company that specializes in working with its customers to find recycling and waste reduction solutions.  
Greener Results is currently working with MetroWaste to provide Waste Stream Auditing services for their customer base, especially in the commercial building management sectors.         

 
The National Restaurant Association’s Conserve Program is the NRA’s initiative to provide information and resources on going green to its membership.  
Greener Results worked with the NRA to transform the Conserve website into a membership-based educational model that will also serve as a consumer-based platform for all restaurants nationwide that wish to document their green activities. Greener Results worked directly with NRA on the development of best management practices and has overseen development of the website applications with IT-partner DevBridge.  


Omega Protein is the world's largest manufacturer of heart-healthy fish oils containing omega-3 fatty acids for human consumption, as well as specialty fish meals and fish oil used as value-added ingredients in aquaculture, swine, and other livestock feeds.
Greener Results is currently working with Omega Protein’s Reedville, VA, plant to develop a sustainability-based Environmental Management System that is also ISO14001 compliant. It is hoped that the Omega Protein plant will soon qualify for acceptance in the Virginia Environmental Excellence Program.  

 
Sodexo, Inc. is the leading provider of integrated food and facilities management services in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, serving 10 million customers in 6,000 locations every day.  
Greener Results assists Air Cycle Corporation in the development of Sodexo’s corporate-wide program for the recycling of lamps, ballasts, batteries, electronics and other green products and services.  


Trash-Free Potomac Facility Program is a voluntary program run by Alice Ferguson Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental education and environmental issues in the Potomac River watershed. 
Whole Foods Market is an active participant in the Trash-Free Potomac Facility’s efforts, and Greener Results also works in support of their programs on behalf of Whole Foods. Greener Results worked closely with staff and volunteers of the Alice Ferguson Foundation to develop the Trash-Free Potomac Facility Program, which was launched in the Fall of 2009; and it is currently assisting in program promotion and coordination.

 

The Virginia Beach Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (VB SPCA) was founded in 1966 and is the only private, non-profit animal shelter in the Hampton Roads region to accept all companion animals, regardless of age, breed, health, or temperament.  
Greener Results has assisted the VB SPCA in the development and implementation of their greening of the Virginia Beach SPCA project. The project has involved full assessment of environmental-related opportunities, including LEED advisory evaluation, energy audits, and consideration of a wide variety of innovative projects and products. Moreover, Greener Results helped develop an EMS-based Sustainability Program supported by its Green Team that now tracks environmental data and set goals for improvement. The VB SPCA will join the Virginia Environmental Excellence Program in the Spring of 2010.  



Virginia Green is a statewide program that works to reduce the environmental impacts of Virginia’s tourism industry. It is a partnership between the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC), the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), and the Virginia Hospitality & Tourism Association (VHTA) that provides recognition, guidance, and criteria for all sectors of tourism to self-certify their green activities.  
Greener Results founder, Tom Griffin originally developed Virginia Green while working for the Virginia DEQ, and Greener Results now serves as lead consultant to the program. Tom Griffin serves as spokesperson for the the program and coordinates the efforts of the Virginia Green Advisory Committee.  

 

 

Virginia Tech’s Hampton Roads Center is a continuing education center, which services the Hampton Roads, VA Region. 
Greener Results partnered with Virginia Tech to develop the Green Jobs Training Academy, a developing curriculum of classes and certifications related to the green programs and job opportunities. The Green Jobs Training Academy now offers classes in Green Hotel Management; Sustainable Restaurant Management; LEED Preparatory classes; and various other classes and certifications related to energy efficiency.
